I still remember the first time I found K-pop, dan sejak hari itu, lagu-lagu kalian selalu punya tempat sendiri di hidupku.
Seonghyeon, Keonho, Jay, Woojin, Ohyul, Jungwon, Minghao, Jaemin, Jeno, Taeyong…
you may not know me, but you’ve been part of my growing up story. Sebagian dari kalian literally menemani aku dari kecil. I watched your stages, your smiles, your struggles , and it taught me something.
You taught me to work hard quietly,to dream big, to stay humble, and to keep shining even when it’s hard. Saat aku lelah dari sekolah, suara kalian jadi healing. Saat aku insecure, seeing your hard work makes me stronger. Saat aku merasa sendirian, your songs make me feel understood.
I’ve never been to your concert. I’ve never seen you in real life. No fan meeting, no eye contact in the crowd. But that doesn’t mean my support is small.
I stream your songs in my room. I watch your performances on my tiny screen. I smile alone when you win awards. And sometimes I cry quietly because I’m so proud of you.
Maybe I’m far away, but distance doesn’t erase gratitude. People sometimes say,
“ Buat apa sih terlalu suka sama idol ?”
“ Ngapain sih suka sama gitu gituan ? ” And honestly? I don’t care. Because this isn’t about being noticed. This is about how your music saved my bad days.
How your hard work inspired mine. How you unknowingly became part of my childhood and my teenage years now. I’m not saying “I love you” in a delusional way.
I’m saying it as a fan who is grateful.
Thank you for inspiring me. Thank you for making music that feels like home.
Maybe I’m just one fan in millions, but your existence truly means something in my life.
And on this Valentine’s Day, I just want to say Happy Valentine’s Day.
Thank you for the love you give through your music. I’ll continue supporting you in a healthy way, growing with you, not depending on you, just being grateful that our timelines crossed.
